Rough Country lift kit review for 96-02 4runner

Has anyone installed the new Rough Country 3" suspension lift kit for 96-02 4runner? I have been thinking about purchasing this kit for my 4runner. Price is great. I'm looking for some opinions out there!

No experience with that particular kit but I have had a 4" rough country lift on my 95 4runner and I was thoroughly impressed with its overall durability actually. Maybe someone else will chime in here...

i dont have one, but ive always heard two things about rc lifts; you get what you pay for, and that they're okay if you dont do alot of extreme off roading (flexing and putting other strain on the suspension). there doesn't appear to be too much to that kit though, and the price isnt bad at all.

We put one on my sons 1997 2wd sr5. It doesn’t see a lot of off-road It’s actually pretty decent. I think it’s just trendy to knock on rough country. It was easy to install lifted 3”. Looks great handles great. The front did feel a little bouncy to me ( probably just in my head ). I called rough country and told them and within 5 minutes I got an email saying they sent me a new set. No fuss at all. Do have to relocate pan hard bar and different sway bar links. If your not a major off roader. It’s a good kit
