96 ball joints

Well I was going to replace the ball joints because the inside of both tires were worn and I was told it may be the ball joints but I am not so sure now. I jacked it up and the boots look fine and the hubs are rock solid. There is no movement. I do have 191k on them. What do you think?

With that amount of miles I'd replace them... Just because the boots are intact doesn't mean they don't have flat spot in the wear area... Probably should do your tie rod ends too and be done with it

i did my lbj's as preventitive maintence this year at 145K. However, the tire wear sounds like an alignment issue. FWIW my 4runner started to wear on the inside edge like that. I already had 50,000 on my bfgs before it started. After new alignment that it needed, inside wear appears to stopped. Hard to say though because the tires are already worn.

I rotated the tires and the vibration I had went to the back .... A previous owner had some type of undercoating applied to the bottom of the truck. In some places it is 1/2 inch thick! I Think it was put on when it was new as it is coming off now and there it has it looks brand new underneath. The Alignment bolts are covered in it so I guess it has never been aligned.
