Two inch bracket lift kits, do they exist?
Hello all. Before opening this thread I went thorugh several pages of SEARCH RESULTS in the Forum as well if I put "Bracket Lift" in Google I only end up to sellers of 4" kits (Procomp Stage II, Rough Country, etc).
I'm wondering if this type of kits rated for 2" maximum do exist.
Thanks a lot
Enrico

Hello 884Runner, thanks for reply, I did already search for BJ spacers and btw you may want to come the other thread I opened for that subject https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116.../#post52025232
I’m considering the possible options for a moderate lift and this thread is only about to know if 2inches max. bracket lift do exist, as I couldn’t find anything so far.

Thanks for replies.
Adam, you confirm my findings.
Sorry, I realize now that this thread is not in the section that I expected. Mine is a 4Runner 3.0TD year 1994, European, and I think it's just what you classify as a 2nd gen, the last restyling.
As said before, I'm considering various options. Why you say that a bracket lift is not needed for this small lift?
I have a 2" rear lift to improve the departure angle, which gets even worse when hauling. I need then the front lift to (almost) even the rear.
A bracket lift would keep me away from the problems that affect BJ spacers/T-bars cranking lifts (CVs binding, steering components breakages, CV boots ripping, alignment issues).
Of course it gives just stock travel compared to BJ spacers and just stock clearance under the diff, compared to BJs/T-bar cranking.
Attack angle and cross-vehicle clearance would anyway improve and be same as BJs/T-bar cranking, if I'm not wrong.
I can't think of other cons of the bracket lifts; maybe some weakeness of the bracket components, but I haven't found many claims on this aspect. Rather I have read good feedbacks about good quality bracket lift kits like the Procomp Stage II for example.
If there were any cons with those 4", I think that they would be somehow minimized with just 2".
Any advice very much appreciated.
