so one fatefull night we "borrowed" the welder and torch from ron case roofing with only a weekend before this guy had to be finished before it had to take me to work the following monday. so we threw her together "first" with a hybrid 3" spring pack that i had laying around would have sat nice and level with the fj80 coils in the rear

the 3" springs were much to small for high steer.. they would hit eachother when the truck flexed as you can see in the pic... so back into the shop to go right to some 5" and the coils would go in as well

with two types of sas "solid axle swap" and "saggy ass syndrome" she was at least driveable with some roller 33's we had laying around of fj cruiser wheelins sucking the tires into the fender making it suuuper narrow and funny looking

so rollered her around like that for a little while till i got an appropriate rear lift ready to go, a Chev63" swap with 4 inch blocks is just what the doctor ordered as well as some proper 35's with some wide wheels to make it wheelable

so back to before the build.... my 4runner is auto 3.0 with factory 31s and a tow package...... for those of you who dont know G144 gear code means factory 4:88's so i decided that would be an appropriate ratio to run for a little while so i traded my 3rd member in the front axle with the locker for a 4:88 diff and some extra shafts and birfeilds and put the 4:88s in to make matching ratio's

so i actually had to Weld the thing to my body becasue mine was a 93 so i did not have the place to bolt it on in stock location... which made me nervious at first thinking a slight impact would tear it right off my body... then a drunk guy subaru hit me at 30 the night i put it on.......... not a scratch

so after a good while of being the slowest car on the road with the good ol 3.0 auto tag team of pulling your hair out. the auto pooped on a wheeling trip and it was time for a 5spd swap.
