Just installed new sorta low end Monroe front struts yesterday and they bounce all over the place. Truck has 202k miles, weren't the originals I took out but do you think the springs could be worn out? If you shake the front end up and down it bounces 3-4 times..not exceptable for brand new struts and horrible dip and dive body roll when stopping and turning corners. Should I trash them and buy stiffer Struts or could the springs be worn out? They are wayy too soft and bouncy..

 

Worn out springs equal sag. Worn out shocks equal bounce. Sounds like your new Monroes are junk.

 

Yeah I should have just bought the KYB's to match in front...never, try to save a buck. Always buy the best.
