22re coolant leak /photo included.

New poster (long time lurker) and I've looked around a bit but didn't find and photos or similar leaks to what i have happening.

Its a 1994 22re and the leak was shooting out horribly got some quick seal stuff that at least got us home. 3 days later the leak started again but not as bad as before. I at first thought it was the water pump but taking a second look it looks like a leak from the timing chain cover and i have no idea why coolant would come out from there.

Any advice would be appreciated, i've indicated on the photo where the leak is coming from. hope that helps.

Your front cover is most likely leaking. There are water passages there.

Turns out to be a metal tube that carry's the coolant and seems to have a bypass and not sure how but it cracked so at least it was easy to find the problem.
