t-100 oilpan gasket leak

Hey guys

have a 96 t-100 2 wheel drive with 3.4 6cyl engine. auto trans, 262,000 miles. Oil pan and valve covers are leaking. Have tried slight tighten and still leak. Need to replace. Does engine have to be raised to do pan. Can anyone give me a blow by blow. I have tools and am a DIY type who knows this truck from other repairs and yrs of owning it. I havn't had to do much but maintain. So looking for advise on both repairs. Thanks for your time.

There is a FSM link in my sig. Valve covers are easy. Oil pan more complicated.
