90 v6 yota pickup missfire runs rich

I bought the truck had very slight rought idle amd i noticed electrical tape on wires so i put new air filter did oil change and spark plugs and wires. Wen i first started it up ran perfect second time not so much. I can smell it running very rich with a real badisfire at idle lack of power and gas milage when its cold it wants do die or does die with applying pedal until warm. Can feel slight miss fire at free way speeds thx and info will help

You prolly have a bad plug or lead, try removing one lead from dizzy cap or plug and run engine if it's worse put that lead back on, try this until removing a lead made no difference and that will be the problem cylinder, replace plug and or lead and you should be good to go. You can pull leads off whilst it's running which would be quicker but you may get a nasty boot, your call
