3RZ Swap with IFS - few questions...
So I'm still in the waffling stage on dropping this motor into my 90 pickup, and I'm trying to iron out a few details...
Current setup is 22RE/W56 4WD, no lift with IFS. I have no real desire to go to a SAS setup.
I know I'd need the rear-sump T100 pan and that with the current setup I'd need to mod the pan to fit around the front diff; but how much additional diff clearance do I actually need? Would a 2" diff drop be enough to clear the T100 pan without more modding than one could achieve with a couple taps with a hammer?
More questions to come, but let's start with that.
