Stock leaf springs for 87 pickup

Why would you go to all the trouble to put used springs back in
just about every set of springs I have seen from that year still original were just plain worn out.
I have replaced the springs on every one of those vehicles I own.

Well i went and bought some pro comp lift springs since i am lifting the truck. However, they had different sized bushings than stock and wouldnt work. I'm open for suggestions if you have any.
