ticking noise around air box
i have bought a 1992 toyota extended cab 4x4 with the 3.0 3vze engine. i just got finished replacing the head gasket on both sides and after getting everything back together and running it im hearing some sort of ticking noise that sounds like it is coming from around the air box cleaner. its not affecting performance but just annoying.

Does it increase in frequency with RPM? If so, it's the valves.
