99 Tacoma Rear Locker Won't Disengage

Hey guys,
I have a 99 Tacoma Pre-Runner.
I needed to lock up the rear while camping this weekend. Got the job done and I was very happy. However, after I got done, I stopped the truck, pressed the Rear Locker button to disengage, and drove slowly in circles in dirt.
The rear locker will not disengage.

I was wondering if there is anything I can try and do myself before taking it into the shop and paying out the ass. Not to familiar with the Toyota E-Lockers.

Any thoughts?

Leon

Says to stop. Press the button. Drive forward slowly while turning on dirt.

Tried that also.

Is there something I might take apart to help free it?
Drain the oil and put new oil in?
Hit is with a sledge hammer?
