inner axle seal replacement

ok so im tired of breaking stock birfs, im gonna stick longfields in and since the last birfield i broke this weekend ive torn my drivers side inner axle seal up pretty good and am gonna replace both inner axle seals while im in there last time for a while (fingers crossed) and was wondering if anyones removed the seal with the knuckles on still. i dont want to loosen my steering arms for fear of the studs backing out with them and them im either boogering up the threads wich lead to obviously replacing studs and im kinda on a time crunch and dont want to wait for studs as im leaving for rubicon fri afternoon.

If you red loc tited your steering studs as you should you wouldn't have a problem.

Just break down and change em.

Yes you can pull them out with the knuckles still on. It's a pain in the ass with a pick and a screwdriver, but if you have a seal puller from like advanced auto or something like that it's a breeze.
