1979 Toyota Pickup swap to 5vzfe wiring question
Hello, I am new to here. I just picked up a 99 Toyota 5vz 158k miles yesterday with wire harness for $500. I want to swap it into my old 20r pickup. From research I have gathered that the Auto Ecu and the M/T Ecu have different size plugs. Can I buy a M/T ecu and the correct plugs from Toyota and solder the correct wires from my A/T harness? Also has anybody done this before and is there a way to get my stock gauges to work with the 20 yrs newer motor?

ask the guys at www.toyonlyswaps.com they probably offer a stand alone harness that will work or tell you how to make yours work
