NutsBrett 1994 Singlecab Pickup Roll over Re-Build/modifications Thread

So my buddy has a 1994 or so Pickup Pre-Runner, his dog was in the passenger seat when he took a turn and his dog slid into his
arms on the wheel so he drove into the side dirt embankment and rolled over and did some damage to his cab, Dont worry the
dog made it out without a scratch! As did my friend.

Before

he was driving the opposite way that it is facing, when he rolled it spun him around and left him on his side, i had to winch him back onto his wheels

After

Hes all good! My rig behind it

He looked for a cab to replace this one cause the back window is gone, and the doors dont really shut anymore, he would have had to be looking for a new engine, but thank god for his engine cage! He couldnt find a new cab so he is gonna go with my idea, which is to fabricate it into a convertible hard top, ive only seen this once before, but it was done by Toyota as a concept truck.

Right here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QFa5HucDn0

i drew up some designs for a cage, and modeled it out using Blender 3D

I just want to see what you guys think! any opinions on anything?

the concept is good...personally I woud swap the cab in addition to the cage...
next time try to put your #1 &#2 in one pic, that #3 & #4 in one pic etc..it makes for one long pic the way you have it now

We have looked for a cab and cant find any, and he decided that he was gonna go with this, and make a soft top for it like a jeep

and we changed the design a bit, we are gonna model it a little after our very own DIRTCO's old 4runners cage here https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f198...99/index3.html
