Hello, I have a 87 Runner and I am replacing my blown head with a brand new cylinder head. Everything has been checked and cleaned and put back together. I am asking, What is the break in proceedure?. I was told to run engine at 2grand for 20 min, let it cool and check vavles and torque again and to change the oil at 500 miles. Also drive under 65mph (legal cali limit) for the 1st 1000 miles. Does this sound right and what would you recommend?
