78' toyota 20r distributer problems

Hey yotatech,so a week ago I bought a 78' Toyota pick up with a 20r with a Weber 2 barrel carb(I have no clue what size).anyways,I replaced the distributer with a newer Bosch distributer and in between switching the two dizzys,I mixed up my firing order,so I researched and found the wiring order and took my valve cover off and positioned my #1 cyl to tdc,and replaced the original dizzy for the newer Bosch because it didn't seem to look correct.
so im asking:
If I've found #1 tdc, wired my engine cylinders front to back 1-4 and dizzy wires 1-3-4-2 clock wise. What should I go inspect now? Btw the truck was running fine before.
Thanks anything will help.
Tim.

are you sure you were on the intake TDC and not the EXH ? you could be 180* out

easy way is to pull #1 plug and get the piston up to the top (you can see with light) and 0* . make sure your dizzy rotor is at #1 also
