w56-a/b into 1st gen truck help

im in the middle if putting a w56a into my 82 since the l50 broke a tooth in first gear and a week later snapped off the clutch fork and i got a good deal on the w56a. Ive order the crossmember from Budbuilt to fit this swap. All new seals and shifter bushings from Marlin and have it all cleaned up and ready to install. My questions are: i know i have to resize my driveshafts but on the rear ive lifted it 4" at the same time as the tranny went back 4". Is this going to be enough to have the rear shaft relenghtened or will it still be ok? should i have it done with a long spline kit anyway due to the added flex of the chevy springs. Ive been running the 63"s for a year w/4" shackle but have installed a 7" now to match the front lift im doing now (tg"springs,5"shackles). I know i need to redo the front shaft with a long spine one as it is midway thru a 4" spring lift. Does anyone have a template for cutting the shifter holes ive measured and looked and it looks like my trans shifter will sit in the tranfer case hole and i just have the one hole to cut but it would be nicer if someone had a template or something to measure/cut from. Who else has done this swap?

im waiting for a throw-out bearing clip to come from Marlin then i can get the trans in place. i was just thinking that if the trans went back 4" at the same time therearend went down 4" i should still be somewhat close to the stock lenght. im just worried the extra flex will be more then the slip spline can handle

never wheeled there , it was before I had my DL .. many moons ago
but I do remember the old aquaduct , dont know if it's still there or not , but we use to walk the train tracks out to the mid pump station and fish for pike .. gopher hunting when they use to pay 5C a tail . grade 7-8-9-10 and my first KISS concert in Lethbridge .. good times and fond memories
