Looking for a relatively complete 5VZ-FE for my '00 4Runner SR5 project. I'm just outside of Philly, willing to travel a reasonable distance (2 hours or so) for the right deal.

you can search by region. average price in this area seems to be right around $1000. i am about an hour north of you and thats average price in this area.

 

i'm a lot farther north than you wanted to go (mid-coast me) but i have one from an 02 4runner. 119k and just had tbelt/wpump/seals done at 114k for $800.

 

Damn, that's exactly what I was looking for too. I just can't think of any reasonably priced way of getting it to me. Even me driving up and back, the fuel costs would kill me. I can't imagine you're heading south anytime soon? (can't hurt to ask, right?)

 

i have an 85 4runner frame being delivered from alabama in 2 weeks and can ask the guy if he has room on his trailer to drop it off on the way back. its an open trailer and pretty sure does not have a hoist to unload it so you would be responsible for getting it off the trailer.
