No pic but with 33's I simply rolled it next to the the down tubes and ratchet-strapped the tire against it. Worked fine.

The wheel well is only a couple inches from being flush with the roll bar.

You can secure the tire vertically and laterally with one long ratchet strap. I ran the strap btwn the two cargo hooks on the floor and the strap over the tire wedged in the tread then cinched it down (vertically secured). I then took the remaining loose strap and tied it between the spokes and the roll bar with simple knots (laterally secured). Imperfect but effective.

I now have a rear tire carrier so I'm good

Old thread....but alot of the pics on my build thread arent there anymore But heres what mine looked like.

I used 2" square tube I believe. 2 bars welded to hinges that were welded to the rollbar. Then one across the bottom that gave it support and hit the fender bars to stop it and a place to lock it in place. Had a bar between the two with 2 sticks of all thread welded off of those to bolt the tire too. Loved it...ended up selling it. Gunna build something like it again soon.

For up to 33" tires on 4runner rollbars, I humbly offer my suggestion in the Fab Shop section under Rollbar Spare Tire Mount.
