I have an 89 Toyota pickup With the chevy 383 stroker motor. The motor has an oversized cam and a gear drive with headers and a 4 barrel carb. IT has a 6 Inch lift. Still has IFS and It is on springs with blocks in the rear. It also has the Automatic 3 speed in it with dual cases. Its on 37x 14.50x15 toyos. I wanna get diffrent tires too just dont know which ones to get?? Any IDEAS??

 

Sounds like you are off to a good start with plenty of power and a good platform, get rid of the blocks in the rear and I am sure 37's are hard on your IFS steering, and the CV axles will probably be destroyed with the thought of Low-Low with a V8.

 

The 37s are not too bad. I want to convert to a straight axle and have it linked up just saving up the money. I wanna get rid of the blocks and springs and put coils and 3 link the front and rear.
