3rd Gen Front Door Panel Removal

I did my speakers last night and came across this write up that was super helpful. I have a 2000 with the stock tweeters and this covered everything I needed to put in new components in the front. I put in 6.5's and dremmeled the stock tweet mounts to make the new ones fit. Also, Dremmel tools are freakin sweet! I used a hot glue gun to secure the new tweets.

Cheers!

I have several Dremmels, one gets warm, swap the bit and keep going ( I used to do a lot of inlay work). Love-em.

I had my tweets in the factory spots and dremeled out like you did but after a week I thought they were WAYYY to bright up there and moved them down above my speakers now. I have the JL C2650s and they were BRIGHT!
