should i have play in input shaft on rear end?

carrier bearing is shot on my 90 extended cab 4x4 pickup and i noticed ive got play in the input shaft on the rear end.im guessing this isnt good.let me know guys.thanks

they usually have a little play. pull the third member and have someone check it out to make sure it its in (or out of) spec.

the pinion seal is leaking to.im prolly just gonna use this as an excuse to put a 4 pinion with an e-locker in it

sounds good to me! if thats your process though, i think its time for a full build. those leaky pinions can cause all kinds of trouble..
