Precision Auto Care, any comment.

Hey group,

I need to get my transmission flushed and precision auto has the best price in town, $99.00. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this company or knows of the quality of work.

Also I asked if they had synth. fluid and they said they add an additive to the Reg. Trans Fluid that suppose to do the same thing. I was wondering if this is OK or should I demand that synth. fuild be installed? Is there any harm in these types of additives?

Thanks for the help!

David

Type of oil

I called them back to ask what type of fluid they used in the trans. flush, you know some of the big names, and he said a company named samson something another. He thought it was made by Citco.

I am now a little concerned about taking my truck there to get serviced. Such I be?

I have a 2001 Toyota 4 Runner.

Thanks,
David

Sorry, I can't help you.

But if I were, I'd just purchase the fluid you would rather use and hand it to them.
