Wanted to get the collective opinions on this idea.

I've been shopping for a 97 Tacoma. Its one of my favorite truck styles ever and the prices are right in my budget for a toy (~$10,000). I'd love to have a current generation truck, i just have troubles spending that much on a truck to take to the woods.

While i was searching i came across an 05 Tacoma TRD SR5 4x4 thats in my price range because it has 200k miles. Most of the 97's that i've been looking at has mileage in the mid to high 100k range so mileage doesnt really scare me. I have pretty good faith in Toyota products.

So i was wondering what others thought of this. Would you keep shopping for a ~15yr old truck with 100k+ miles or jump on an 05 double cab with high mileage?
