Hey guys can the alt over charging kill a battery? long story short: radiator hose sprays water into alt. charge and brake lights come on later and dead battery shows up. alt shows to be charging from 13.8-16.5. seems to be acting kinda crazy. Even replaced the battery drove for about 5 mins and it's DEAD the next morning! what the...!!! any ideas???

 

Yes, a bad alternator can have a constant draw and drain a battery, it sounds like that is your problem, alternators don't typically enjoy showers.
