Steam/smoke from vents

So on my way to work today I was running the AC and after I got on the hwy it started raining and I noticed smoke coming from the air vents. At first it was hardly noticeable, but after a minute it could really see it. It didn't smell like antifreeze but I pulled over and checked it out anyway and everything seemed good. Has this ever happened to anyone before?

If you didn't smell anti-freeze, its probably a matter of warm and highly humid air hitting the evaporator then being cooled. It'll cause condensation when its cooled and that's probably the mist you saw.

Happened to me, had to add a small ac freon leak. Check the pressure on the low side of the AC, make sure the pressure is up to specs.
