so im buying an 89 toyota 4cyl. manual ext cab 4x4 with 37k orig miles. thing is minty fresh and was garage kept all its life being washed and waxed almost every weekend. KBB and NADA value the truck at like 3k i was wondering what yall would value the truck at. i would say its way more then 3k just interested in what yall thought.

 

What are the seller's asking for it? Any pictures? If I had one in mint condition with only 37K miles I would never sell it, but if I was the seller I would be asking anywhere from 7-10K I guess. If I was trying to buy one I would try to get it for around 5 or 6 grand I suppose. But if you can get it for 3K then jump on it!

Only 37k miles!!?? Wow, thats practically new. Is 3k what he is asking? Ive seen worse trucks selling for more than that. But i guess it depends on your specific area. Demand dictates price. Around my area i've seen them between 3-6k. There are some that pop up in the 1-2k range but they are rough and need lots of work.

im buying from the second owner who has had it only a year and was a cop who only drove his patrol car. the original owner was an admiral stationed in New Orleans. im looking at buying it but the price is way above 3k. just wondering what yall thought. this is the cleanest 89 you will ever see. its going to be my fishing/ hunting truck and if i take care of it will be my sons first truck. a 04 yota with this mileage is worth 25kish which is why i dont get the huge difference.

 

because an 04 tacoma is worth more than this truck, despite the year and mileage.

honestly, being that its a 22re, its definitely worth the buy if its not a ridiculous price. You'd be sinning if you wanted to mod this thing though if you're looking for something to cut up, SAS, and wheel. pass on it, and go with somehting a little more beat already.

 

mak when you say ridiculous price what are you talking? and im not planning on getting crazy with it. i will roll it as it sits for the most part being in the shape its in and i truly want it to be my 3wk old sons first ride. btw mods thanks for putting me in the right place. was lost as a noob i guess.
