Stainless steel braided break line failure

Just like the title says I had my drivers side break line blow on me the other day. Luckily I have an all-pro transfer case e-break and it was pouring so all I did was lock the rear tires and go for a spin (or 3 ) and somehow spun perfectly around the car in front of me. Well now that I'm trying to replace that line I ran into this problem. The blown line is a 50in braided steel line that went straight to the MC and all I can find for my truck are 26in ones. Anybody got any ideas?

Didn't know Marlin has 50" lines. Not saying Marlin would warranty the item but I would contact them. Some people have used a uniOn to connect two brake lines.
I always carry a couPle pairs of real visegrips, not the wannabes just in case I have to pinch off a line.

I would find a hard line and go the normal route.

Replace it with hardline as it should be. Probably failed due to too much heat from the manifold.

Hmm never heard of someone running a line from the caliper all the way to the MC.

Like said above do it right and run a metal line from the MC to the stock location on the frame and then get the standard size braided line and run it to the caliper.

Yeah ocdropzone Marlin doesn't make that line, no one does. I figured that wasn't the way it was supposed to be done. I'll go buy some hardline. Thanks guys.
