Stainless steel braided break line failure
Just like the title says I had my drivers side break line blow on me the other day. Luckily I have an all-pro transfer case e-break and it was pouring so all I did was lock the rear tires and go for a spin (or 3
) and somehow spun perfectly around the car in front of me. Well now that I'm trying to replace that line I ran into this problem. The blown line is a 50in braided steel line that went straight to the MC and all I can find for my truck are 26in ones. Anybody got any ideas?

Didn't know Marlin has 50" lines. Not saying Marlin would warranty the item but I would contact them. Some people have used a uniOn to connect two brake lines.
I always carry a couPle pairs of real visegrips, not the wannabes just in case I have to pinch off a line.
I would find a hard line and go the normal route.

Hmm never heard of someone running a line from the caliper all the way to the MC.
Like said above do it right and run a metal line from the MC to the stock location on the frame and then get the standard size braided line and run it to the caliper.
