94 Pup died while driving

On my way to work, minding my own business, shift in to 5th and the oil battery and brake lights come on. Let the clucth back out, lights go out but I'v got nothing, just coasting a long.

Pull over and try to restart, she just spins. Opened the gas door and I can hear the pump, she's got 3/4 of a tank, so I think I'm getting fuel. Air filter is a week old so I think I'm good there. Pulled a plug wire and I don't seem to be getting spark.

The cap and rotor are a week old, replaced with the air filter, plugs, and wires during a tune-up. She ran fine for 200 miles after the tune-up.

Any suggestions? Fuses to check, how reliable are these coils, and pick-ups? I've got 190k miles on the clock and a terrible drive to a parts store, so I don't want to just shotgun parts until I find a solution.

i would test the coil and the little firing unit on top of it. no spark is better than a busted timing chain i guess. 22re or 3.0

It's a 22re. I checked the coil, had spark from he coil, checked a plug, had spark at the plug tried to start, nova. A couple of shots of ether and she sputtered....FUEL ISSUE.

So the pump was running, the AFM was working (atleast on and off), test light some fuses and the 15A EFI fuse was blown.

What would cause an EFI fuse to blow?

USUALLY a shorted O2 sensor wire. Follow the wire from the O2 up to the engine bay...
