I bought my truck with this stylish ignition (the thing hanging down) and a door key that worked horrible, so I ordered a complete lock set from the dealership and installed everything except the ignition.

Can you help identify what I'm missing here, I'd like to have it look stock? Is it just some kinda plastic trim that the ignition switch sits in? Any help would be appreciated.

 

Go to a wrecking yard and grab a complete steering column.

Also the VIN on the dash/door/frame and title match, just sayin...

 

that is pretty much a legal requirement...
