hey folks! got a problem with old whitey and could use some input from you guys. ive tried searching but the only results i get are for newer trucks. for reference my truck is an 86 4runner with a 22re and a w56. anywho heres what happened: last night me and my and a couple buddies were bored and i relized my truck hasnt seen any action for a while. so i take it to a sand pit do some donuts and get stuck. i think "never fear 4wd drive is here!" go shift the lever and it wont move. and no matter how hard i pull on it or what combination of forward/reverse/clutch/pedal it wouldn't move. so i spent 2 hours digging it out cursing my truck lol. what do you guys suggest i do? should i pull the shifter out take a look down there or is there a fancy trick you guys use?

any help would be appreciated!
