Hello
I have a 1990 pick-up 3.0 V-6 A/T. While driving home today my "brake", "battery", and "A/T oil temp." lights came on. There was no other ill effects to this. Idle was fine, truck ran great. Got home and checked fluids and they are all fine. I did a search for this type of problem and I found a post that this may be the sign of a bad alternator. Can anyone confirm or refute? My voltage gauge was reading fine with no big drops when I used my turn signals. Thank you in advance for your help.

 

Sounds like an alternator to me the brake and battery light almost always come on together when the alternator is gunna go bad
