So every few weeks my friends and I go out to the Butcher Jones area at Saguaro lake. This weekend we had 6 rigs and 11 people. It was soo fun!

Not sure if anyone else in Arizona keeps up with our thread called Arizona Roll Call, but it has kinda become the main place where we orgainze trips - if anyone is ever interested in going out to Butcher Jones with us - PM me and/or check out that thread for details.

 

That looks like it was a fun trip. How is Butcher Jones these days? I quit going out there years ago because it was getting tore up and littered by idiot kids that didn't care about the sport or the limited amount of land available for 4wheeling. Judging by your pics though, it looks like its been cleaned up quite a bit. Might have to give it another shot, I sure do miss being near the water on summer days. Great pics by the way.

 

I plan on going out to Butcher Jones a lot this summer, only been out there a handful of times in the last several years. Your 4Runner is still lookin good Jeff. I sold mine last summer, got a 2000 Tacoma now. Long time no see, hopefully I run into you out there sometime this summer.

 

Nate - It wasn't that bad out there at all - this time. But we didn't stop by the first cove which is usually the worst one; we went straight to the third. Everywhere was pretty clean considering how much traffic that place gets.

We've been going out there alot already this year - I think I've been there more this year than the last 2 years together.

Casey - PM me sometime and lets get out there! This weekend we're going camping somewhere up in Payson but we are planning another trip to Butcher Jones on the 21st or 22nd. Probably the same crew too - does the new Taco have a e-locker?

 

Jeff, that's good to hear. I might have to tag along on one of your trips out there this summer.... if you don't mind.
