36000 miles on my 2002 Tacoma TRD 4x4

Decided to do the 30K service at 36K miles.

1) 5W30 Mobil 1 Engine Oil
2) Fram Oil Filter
3) K&N (clean/re-oil)
4) Toyota OEM Spark Plugs
5) Mobil 1 75W/90 Oil
*Front Diff
*5-speed tranny
*Transfer Case
*Rear Diff
6) Toyota OEM PCV valve
7) Toyota OEM Coolant Flush
8) Rotate BFG All-Terrains (front to back)
9) Grease all drive-line Zerk fittings with Mobil 1 Synthetic Grease

Did I miss anything??

Didn't adjust the brakes, they feel perfect and the front/rear pads have about 85% left.

Thanks for your feedback...

Shoulda used OEM Yota oil filters rather than the Fram. I've heard they don't filter as good as the OEMs, otherwise, nice job on the the 30K service. Did you go to the stealer or did you do all of it yourself?

You want to see something really scary about Fram oil filters??

http://minimopar.knizefamily.net/oilfilter-fram1.txt

Taken from this site:

Before I read that, I used nothing but Fram/Fram Extra Guard/Fram Tough Guard on my Eclipse. Now I will never touch one of their products.

30K @ 36K

Any particular reason you waited 6K? :pat:

I talk with the service manager at my local dealership quite often and he has told me on more than one occasion that the #1 reason people have difficulty or problems with their vehicles on down the road is "inconsistent early maintenance done at improper intervals", i.e. the 30K service interval at 36K. I guess it is better late then never.

Sounds more like propaganda to me.

Propaganda perhaps, but I know for a fact that someone who does not have their vehicle maintained by the Toyota dealership is going to get screwed when it comes down to the day when they do need the dealership for something and don't have a relationship with them. Especially since a lot of warranty work depends on just how the dealer decides to handle it. I just had a power door on my Sienna go out and it was not covered by my extended warranty but the dealership fixed it at no cost to me, over $400, under the "goodwill" warranty. So, I respectfully disagree.
