87 4runner transplant from 84 celica

87 4runner transplant from 84 celica
I Can Get a 84 Celica engine and trans for 250.00 with 130,000 on it.
The manual transmission wont work in my 4runner and bolt up to my transfer case will it?
Ive read up on the motor differences, specifically the analog EFI to Digital EFI. So If I get it I will switch over everything from my later 22re, Dist. wiring, Intake manifold, oil pan and pick up tube, And what about the knock sensor?
Is this worth it or should i hold out for a newer 22re?
