Service question for the Houston area Homies...
Hey kids!!! haven't been on for a while, spending a ton of money on my '88sausage grinder; all new tranny, all new clutch kit, new exhaust system, new suspension system, new hi output alt plus belts, new hi output headlamps, etc. etc., I have only spent about 5k, on a truck I bought for 2k.!!!
fun , fun , fun!
Anyway, it looks like I have the classic signs of either having a cracked or warped head. I have neither the time, tools, or wherewithall, to do this job
myself; unless I can buy a head, and do the other stuff without a lift, and with handtools. so I have a 2 part question.
First, Do you know of a good shop to do either a head replace or grind, with new gasket, and secondly, what other work should I get done at the same time? I have a bit of cash saved, so money should not be too much of an object. I would rather have the job done right than cheap, If I can't have both. Thanks in advance.
