So my buddy is doing a vortec 4.3 swap into a 1983 toyota pick up. Everything is in besides one thing, the damn wiring. We have the ecu, and need a pdf or something that will show the ecu layout for the 4.3 as far as what wire is what color and where it goes. If someone can help me that'd be awesome.

I bought the chevy wiring section of the service manual from ebay for my 4.3 swap. It was not terribly expensive, and they are some of the clearest wiring diagrams I've ever seen. Full-size diagrams of every plug, wire colors, etc.

 

I believe it is 96 vortec motor out of a blazer 2wd. And its fuel injected and going into a 83 hilux that I believe was 22r

Well thanks anyway. If u happen to find anything on a 96-00 vortec please let me know. We have everything done but electrical and really need a diagram for the ecm.
