wander if you just hook up the fans to turn on the instant the truck is started and they just stay on as long as the engine is running .
finding a fan shouldnt be to hard i see plenty of them hooked up cars all the time in the junkyard i think its just a matter of what would fit

if you do it u should put up article on it

goodluck intresting to see how it goes

You can get them off ebay for really cheap. Or even an offroad site. Do your homework on which one will fit. Ive pulled them out off lots of 1989-1995 civics, accords and preludes and they were all 2 wire. Power and a ground. Not really hard to run. Do recomend a relay thou.....

Super easy to wire. The temp switch i had was bad so i just used a jumper wire. Works great and doesnt cool to much. And i can shut it off and leave the key on, and the fans continue cooling.

Took about 20 minutes to wire a set of duals in. But i already located the power sources so that made it easy.

Ya cause I want it so when I turn the truck off to run in the store for a few minutes I get back in and it's 3/4 of the way up. So I want it so it always keeps it so it's always normal temp even when the truck is off.

Even if the fan is cooling the radiator when the truck is off the motor will still get hot. When the truck isn't running the water pump doesn't turn...

It will cool the Radiator when it is running so the motor will cool down a little bit when first started but it would do this on start-up as well with out the fan constantly running...

It will still circulate the hot air from the engine compartment. It will not make a huge improvement, but still helps a little.

If you want to do it "right", tap the thermostat housing or block for a temp switch, and you will be good to go. Its worth doing if you hate the mechanical fan. But it will not solve your cooling problems.
