3vze radiator corrosion

I was looking inside my radiator the other day and noticed that there is a lot of corrosion and build up inside of it. Would it be in my best interest to replace it? I need to replace all the hoses and belts. Or, would a good flush with fresh water take care of it? thank you!

I'd replace it if it were me. Radiators are pretty cheap and they don't last forever, if its over 10 years old I'd say you got your moneys worth out of it.

BTW if you use only distilled water to mix with the antifreeze they will last longer and so will other parts of the cooling system. It can even make a difference on head gasket life.

Yeah, i was hoping that someone suggested replacing it. I will probably do that, and you dont use the pre mixed coolant? I hear the long life stuff is bad, but if you just buy the regular pre mix, it will work well.

My stock radiator had corrosion. went to an autozone, grabbed a radiator for like 110 bucks... been perfect since.
