a guy i hunt with is selling his 79 for $500 and i was wonderin if it is worth this it the truck runs great, he can stand out side of it and crank it up. only down side is that it doesnt have a frontdrive shaft the truck it was like that when he got it and he has never tried to replace it, so he doesnt know why its out of if there is anything wrong with the front end or if the 4wheel drive even works
its needs alot of body work and a lil tlc on the inside as i want it make it look back factory just with 35s

 

I'de grab it, that parts alone are worth that much. If you can't get the 4x4 to work for what ever reason, you can part it out to recoup the money, but for $500 I think it's worth it even if it does need body work.

Just parts alone for a 1st gen, you could sell for 2 or 3 times that.

If i had the opportunity for a 1st gen, that'd puppy would be mine!

scrap is way up here. im scrapping mine at the end of the week for $600 in the metal! i need a motor and clutch in mine.
