Prairie City, California (2-12-11)

Yet again, Another Prairie City run! MKtaco_98 and I showed up a little late and only wheeled for about an hour and a 1/2 since we were swapping Mktaco_98s E-locker rear axle under his Tacoma, but as soon as we finished, we hopped in my truck and drove down there to meet up with space-junk and his Nissan friend. Anywho, here's the pictures:

( I apologize for the amount of pictures of the same image, I'm trying to learn how to make a Gif and its not going so well )

super fun day! thanks for comin out, Mike, and thanks for taking the pics, Matt! that off camber definately had a pucker factor to it...
as for Cameron's Nissan, im surprised that it did so well with 31" all season tires on it! except for the fact that he got stuck in a mud pit, that damn thing just soldiered on... i mean, the off camber steep hill, he had both drive tires in the air several times, but he'd touch down and just mob off... i think hes hooked on wheeling... already talking about BJ spacers and shackles so he can run 32x11.5 BFGs...

ill have a few more pics up soon...

Hmmmm, I was talking about the Blue Runner..... with the Hi-lift on the Bumper,.... Who's was that? Sorry man,.... I get so lost in all the thousands of trucks on here, haha. Spaces rig looked great, too. Like the bumper a LOT! PS> Those bumpers in the link Bird gave ya, Space? They look pretty unique, maybe a lil lighter than the ARB's?

my buddy had that same Nissan... it was REALLY quick for a 4cyl... Seriously, WAY quicker than my 22re at the time.. but even though we both stomped on them through the trails in the Angeles Crest and fire roads, ...getting air, etc., ...he always left with broken parts, ....Me, not a one in 4 years. hahaa

Was that a Canon DSLR or Nikon(similar)? My Canon gets 5 shots per second, .....kinda looks like some of that series above. Just curious. Like guessin! hahaha. Great quality pics.

OH, ....and I'd love to come visit, guys, honest. I wanna stop by Pismo's on the way, etc., .....just haven't even had time to do ANYTHING. Working around 14Hrs. a day, then working on this dang thing(thanks to machinists and THE WORST luck with parts, lol). Still have yet in a year to get out to Havasu to see Pops! GRR, lol. I'll try, honest, asap. I also would love to visit Spearo... Been up there, great breaks, outlying wilderness.... just beautiful country up there, guys! It's beautiful down here, too, ...no reason you can't give me a holla when/if you ever make it down, yeah?

haha Blue 4Runner eh? I read that and had to go back and check the pictures... it actually looks blue in some of them. but its actually a factory dark gray color.

also the cameras that were used were nikon D50 and D80. ( most are from the D80 )

Yeah, The pops is big in photography. So we usually get his hand me down cameras ( I'm happy with the obsolete D50 )

and My lockers worked out great. Almost too over powering for the type of wheeling I do lol. but I haven't been stuck since i got the Lockers...

Not Blue, just faded...
mikes runner with the Aussies and DT headers is a freak of nature... its loud, in your face, and will walk over whatever you point it at...
now he just needs BJ spacers and OME901HDs... and dual cases... and LT... but seriously, thats ALL he needs to make his rig mean...

Hey Space, .... I thought for sure that when you were asking on the 'abandon all hope' thread, Bird posted a link of some specialized bumpers that looked similar to ARB's stuff. Lil more rounded and more angles.

Anyway, good to know you found one.
