problems to look for on an '05 Tundra V-8 Crew?

My buddy is looking at buying a 2005 Tundra Crew Cab V-8, and he wants me to help him take a look at it. Any feedback on common problems to look for would be greatly appreciated.

I'm planning on looking at:
  • Oil, trans fluid
  • Timing belt cover for when it was last done
  • Leaks
  • Trans shifting, noises
  • Engine noises

I'd look for rust as well but you probably won't have that problem being in NM. Make sure the diffs aren't making any noise, and assuming its 4x4 make sure the transfercase shifts nice and easily.

Yup checked all that as well, everything seems to work fine. No dents in the skid plates, CV shafts have good boots and everything.

The engine seems good, although it has a higher-pitch hissing sound when you floor it, almost like a vacuum leak (but I can't find any vacuum leaks). Could be it's normal valvetrain, throttle body, or coolant noise, I'm not real familiar with the 4.7.

Sounds like it may have a throttle body spacer, they make the 4.7V8 kind of whistle.

I can't think of any problem areas the 05s would have. If it's got 90,000 on it the timing belt is due for a change (or should have been changed)
