Some of us locals drove out to tinkham rd and drove the forest service roads in the that area and had a nice grilled lunch. A good time had by all, and the only casualty was my arb air pump.

more pics will come from the others.

Dude, that arb pump crapped out AGAIN!? booooo................
Fun and great time!! Glad we all were able to make it!! The kids had a blast runnin around in the snow! The front locker in my rig saved my butt when I slid sideways off the road!! Pulled me out no probs!
Stupid lsd....
Atleast I didn't have to get winched...*cough* MATT *cough*

here's the pics of the pump fail. Bearing on the piston assembly failed and came apart.
The toasted bearing race, notice the shavings all over?

The damaged filter attachment plate.

The piston shaft is broken and bent.

Notice the brokeness?

The crank shaft was damaged as well

Your melted snow looks like our fresh snow. Looks like you had a good time. One thing though... those little fold-up camping chairs from Wal Mart are pretty cheap! You might find that they are a bit more comfortable than standing around in the snow.

You know to deflect those snow balls down on to those sitting on the tail gate!

You can take the bird dog out of the woods/field, but you can't take the bird out of the dog. She'd do just what she's been bred for given the opportunity. It's mainly instinctual. But, she may not be any good at it. Who's to know, if she's never tried? What is she BTW, looks like a Brittany/English pointer/something mix. No matter, I knows a bird dog when I sees one.
