OEM Brush Guard - Same Between 92-95 4Runner and 92-95 Pickup?
Hi all,
Did a little searching, but couldn't find any real information on the OEM Brush Guard.
I was at the junkyard today and came across a 92-up 4Runner that had an OEM brush guard on it. It seemed in pretty decent shape all things considered. It might have been slightly tweaked, but I don't know if it was the truck or the guard itself, but anyways, as the title states, does the guard interchange between models?
I went to the Toyota catalog located here: Toyota Catalog and it appears the face bar part number is identical, so I'm thinking it should be close.
If the part is still there the week before Christmas and New Years and is reasonable, I might have to pick it up if it fits as a stop gap until I figure out what I want to do with the front end of the truck. I'm not a huge fan of a grill guard on a truck, but if I use just the center push bar it might not be so bad, as long as I can fit a set of Hella 500's on it (I forgot to see if it had center holes). If it's tweaked, sold, won't fit, or doesn't have light mounts, no biggie. Just wanted this piece of info for further looking @ the yard.
Thanks in advance and again sorry for the n00bish threads. I just got this truck so I'm still learning about it.

Yes the OEM Toyota brush guard is the same for the 89-95 trucks as it is for the 90-95 Runners. The lower bracket has three holes to make up for the difference for the 4Runner bumper that sticks out. I know this because I have the OEM Toyota brush guard on my 94 4runner that came off a 91 truck.
