Was curious as to what this thing is. It has two 10mm bolts holding it onto air cleaner housing. I see the top hose connects into air cleaner housing and the other goes up under the intake. Im curious to what this is,as mine was dripping water cause it's cracked on the side/bottom and the hose connecting to the pipe going under intake was cracked n drippin water. I took ir off to repair hole and it poured water out of it. I've patched all holes, but this thing is mind boggling to figure out it's name and function.
Thanx all...

That is a resontator. It's part of the "Pulsed Secondary Air Injection System" sits between the air cleaner and the PAIR reed valve. I don't think there should be water in there, as it is the air supply for the valve. There definitely souldn't be water pouring out of it.

I was thinking the same thing..."why is water pouring out of this if it's hooked to the intake system"?
The water that poured out was about 3oz.
Now the question is...why am I getting water in here and how?
Is it condensation build up? The part when I took it off, didn't feel like their was anything even in there. It was ligh and no rattling when I shook it.

Not sure how water got in there, unless you went through a large water hole. Might want to check it later to make sure there isn't any more water in there.
