Thanks for sharing the video
... its just in time ... i have been debating on replacing my rotors n brakepads on my pickup ... just couldn't decide if I should do it myself or leave it to the mechanic ... The video is pretty detailed and i think im ready to jump in soon
once I decide on the parts and tools required ... Im leaning towards Hawk breakpads n brembo rotors .. which brand parts did you go for?

That was great. Thanks for taking the time to make it. That will surely help a lot of newbs~
I bought the Hawk HD pads & while a little noisy/dusty, they ROCK for stopping! I also bought dimpled/slotted rotors from RotorPros.com. They treat me right a few years ago on Ford Expedition rotos & I went back to them for my new ones. I've been through only one set of Toyota rotors in the past 160,000 miles...thought I'd give these a try this time around

I generally remove the brake line, but that is always a pain because I need to find someone to push the pedal so I can bleed my brakes.

The only way I can swing the caliper out of the way is to remove the hard line from the caliper, or remove the bracket bolt that goes into the steering knuckle.
