I noticed a coolant leak tonight on my 3rd gen today (5VZ, 198k miles). The leak seems to be coming from the engine block (passenger side), and didn't seem to be coming from the lower coolant hose.

I've replaced the radiator before, but unfamiliar with leakage near the block. The line that is leaking seems to be a solid line (rather than rubber tube). Is this the oil coolant hose?

I am looking for some guidance on diagnosis and what the parts/fixes in that area.

The oil cooler is on the drivers side, same side as the oil filter for those right side drive guys.

Are you talking about the block drain plug spout maybe? A pic would help.
