I just readjusted the clearance on my valves yesterday. Everything looked good and I did it while it was hot like the book suggested. However I cant find how often this is supposed to be done. It wasnt too bad of an experience and it will be smoother the next time Im sure. Just not sure when that should be.Thanks in advance. If it matters its a 86 4Runner with stock 22re.

 

some people say to do it every oil change, others say twice a year, i only do it when i start to hear a tick lol

 

owners manual says for a 22re 30,000 miles or 36 months.
