Looking for a person/place to rebuild 2wd A/T 1991

Ok after a hour of searching here and t-nation forums I need to put it out there. Doing a rebuilt super stock 22re in a few weeks and want to have my A/T rebuilt. 160k miles and was big time acting up not shifting and would stay in 1st gear after backing it up. Did a flush 2times, tranny medic, sea foam to no avail. Would love for any and all recommendations on a reliable repair facility or a line on a low mileage or recent rebuilt one.
Thanx

Jason

Problems shifting are often solenoid or valve body problems. Unless your transmission is also slipping, I would say you probably don't need a rebuild. Did you try manually shifting? Is your O/D light flashing? What exactly is the transmission doing?

Thanks for the reply. It does not shift out of first when warm or if you put it into reverse until you spool the motor up to redline rpms. I replaced the shifting solenoid. It also started to slip a bit before multiple flushing and treatment.
Guess I just wanted someone who really knows trannys to possibly dyno it and lmk exactly what it needs.
I am not afraid to bring it a couple of hours away to someone that can help.

Thanks

Jason
